Ukrainian army thwarts 12 Russian attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk regions

Over the past day, air defense units of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 10 UAVs, and anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed 1 UAV and 4 cruise missiles fired by the Russian army, Report informs, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army thwarted 12 Russian attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and destroyed 3 tanks, 3 artillery systems, 6 combat armored vehicles and 7 cars of the Russian army.

“In Mariupol, the Russian army concentrated its efforts on blocking Ukrainian units near the Azovstal steelworks. The Russian troops continue artillery and air strikes,” the General Staff said.
