Asian countries are demonstrating a demand for nuclear energy, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi said, according to Report.
He said a twofold increase in nuclear energy generation is expected in the region in the next decade, especially in China, Bangladesh, as well as some regions of Russia.
Grossi said the 2030s will obviously differ from the present and the past, especially in the nuclear energy.
He said the growth in demand for nuclear energy is obvious.
Moreover, the IAEA chief stressed the important role that the nuclear energy plays in medicine, agriculture and environment.
