Azerbaijani delegation attends 123rd session of UN World Tourism Organization Executive Council

A delegation led by the Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Tourism Agency, Fuad Naghiyev, participated in the 123rd session of the UN World Tourism Organization Executive Council, held in Segovia, Spain, on May 29-30, Report informs, citing the agency.

At the event, Shaikha Al Nowais, a representative of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was elected as the Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) for 2026-2029.

The Azerbaijani delegation also included Ramiz Hasanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Spain and Permanent Representative to the UNWTO.
