Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine will intensify long-range strikes on Russian territory in response to actions by the Russian military, Report informs.
Zelenskyy made the remarks in a post on Telegram, describing the attacks by Ukrainian forces as "long-range sanctions."
"This is our completely fair response to what the Russians are doing," Zelenskyy said. "Our long-range sanctions have struck Russian oil industry facilities and vessels located about 1,000 kilometers from the contact line."
On May 13–14, Russian forces reportedly launched a record 1,428 drones at Ukraine. During the night of May 16, Russia is also said to have deployed around 300 drones against Ukrainian targets.
