Türkiye has put forward the idea of creating a system of guarantors for the parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, Report informs via Turkish media.
According to Fidan, Türkiye is ready to act as a guarantor for Palestine. He did not specify which other countries could take part in the initiative.
“Other countries should also be guarantors for Israel. Once an agreement is reached that both parties agree to, the country's guarantors must take responsibility for meeting its requirements,” he said, noting that only in this way “will it be possible to establish permanent peace.”
