“We must prevent the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from turning into a regional war,” Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told a press conference with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Ankara, Report informs.
He called both Israel and Palestine for negotiations: “Türkiye is making efforts to ensure a ceasefire, organize an international peace conference, and is ready to be one of the guarantors. Other armed powers in the Middle East may also join the process. That is why peace is so important. We will continue our efforts in this direction.”
