Various crises continue in the region (where Türkiye is located), Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated at the opening ceremony of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye, Report informs.
According to him, the Russia–Ukraine war in the north, developments in Syria and Iran, as well as internal conflicts in Sudan, are negatively affecting regional stability.
Fidan stated that in this context, Türkiye is one of the countries capable of mediating dialogue in the region: "Official Ankara declares that it bears responsibility for ensuring stability in the region and will continue its efforts in this direction. One of our main goals is to keep regions away from the risks of war, terrorism, and occupation."
