Russia actively uses nuclear threats to influence the West, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Urmas Reinsalu, Report informs.
"We must not surrender to nuclear terrorism. Those sitting in the Kremlin think this is the only mechanism to impact the West. Russia uses means of psychological influence," he said.
According to the minister, the current threat of nuclear war is more dangerous than during the Cold War.
Reinsalu also said that Ukraine's membership in the European Union requires years, not months: "After the end of the war, there is no alternative to Ukraine's membership in NATO."
