Armenia, China discuss new defense cooperation areas

Armenia and China have discussed new directions for mutual activity and long‑term planning in the field of defense, Report informs, citing the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

It was noted that Armenian Minister Suren Papikyan is currently on a visit to China.

During his trip to Beijing, Papikyan met with China's Minister of Defense, Admiral Dong Jun.

"The meeting focused on Armenia–China defense cooperation and its development prospects. The ministers highly valued bilateral cooperation in defense and emphasized the importance of expanding mutual activity and long‑term planning in new directions," the ministry said.
