NATO's military exercises called "Breeze" have started in the Bulgarian part of the Black Sea, Report informs, citing News.bg.
These are the first large-scale exercises held in the Black Sea after Russia started the war in Ukraine.
24 military and auxiliary ships and boats, five aircraft, four helicopters and 1,390 servicemen of 11 member states of the North Atlantic Alliance - Bulgaria, Albania, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, USA, Turkey and France - were involved in the exercises.
Amid the risk of anti-ship mines, security measures were taken in the area where the exercises were held.
