Israel will take retaliatory measures after sanctions from Türkiye in connection with the situation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said, Report informs.
“Israel will not tolerate unilateral violation of trade agreements and will take parallel measures against Türkiye, which will harm the Turkish economy. I have ordered the preparation of another list of products whose export Israel will prevent,” reads the message published on social networks.
Katz said that he would try to influence third countries, including the United States, to limit the import of Turkish products.
Türkiye introduced restrictions on the export of a number of manufactured goods to Israel from April 9.
