Vice-Chancellor, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection of Germany Robert Habeck believes that Germany should strengthen its role in NATO.
Report informs via TASS that Habeck was speaking in Garching, which he visited as part of a tour before the Munich Security Conference.
According to Habeck, this year the Munich conference is being held in "an extremely acute situation."
"The Bundeswehr must be brought into a state that guarantees operational combat capability," he said.
International agreements, he said, must be respected, while Ukraine needs constant support.
