Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said Turkiye's actions have been cool-headed since the start of military actions in Ukraine, Report informs.
"Sanctions are imposed on Russian writers. Dostoevsky's works are banned in Italy and other countries. How are they different from the Hulagu who burned books in Baghdad in history? We are disappointed to see such cases in this century. These fascist practices also cast a shadow over the struggle of the Ukrainian people. We embraced those who took refuge in our country and did not discriminate," he said.
