UN-Habitat intends to establish Baku Urban Award

The UN-Habitat is committed to close cooperation with the government of Azerbaijan, Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat, said during the presentation of the initiative to establish the Baku Urban Award within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13 in Baku, according to Report.

"UN-Habitat, in partnership with the government of Azerbaijan, has put forward an initiative to establish the Baku Urban Award. This global initiative is aimed at identifying, promoting, and disseminating solutions in the housing sector," she said.

According to Rossbach, the award established within the framework of WUF13 is not limited to recognition alone, but also serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, learning, and the replication of positive practices.
