Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the transport and logistics sector holds great promise, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Uzbekistan's National Information Agency (UzA), Report informs.
"Our cooperation, particularly in the transport and logistics sphere, holds great promise. Azerbaijan's location in the South Caucasus and Uzbekistan's in Central Asia make our countries natural partners along important strategic routes connecting East and West. In this regard, the integration of the important China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway project with the Middle Corridor and TRIPP will create new economic and transit opportunities for the entire region," the president said.
