Fergus Auld: UK is largest foreign investor in Azerbaijani economy

The United Kingdom remains the largest foreign investor in Azerbaijan's economy, UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld said at a farewell meeting with Azerbaijani journalists today.
"Last year, I flew an aircraft on a flight simulator purchased by Silk Way West Airlines. This was the first deal supported by UK export finance. We have a £5 billion export finance programme for Azerbaijan, which reflects the UK's confidence in Azerbaijan's economy and our shared ambitions for partnership," Auld added.
