The Global Baku Forum can contribute to the solution of various issues, Ismahane Elouafi, the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) told Report.
According to her, the event taking place in the capital of Azerbaijan today will allow discussing challenges in the field of climate change and food security.
Ismahane Elouafi stressed that, according to the UN, 828 million people faced hunger in 2021, which is 150 million more than in 2020.
According to her, all this is due to unfair division and insufficient supply of food.
