Russian energy giant Gazprom has come to an agreement with Italy's Eni on the format of interaction amid regulative changes that occurred in Austria in late September and hindered Russian gas supplies to Italy through Austria, Report informs.
The Austrian operator stated readiness to confirm transport nominations of Gazprom export, which allows resuming Russian gas supplies via Austria, Gazprom says.
On October 1, Gazprom notified Eni that it would not be able to deliver to Italy due to the "impossibility of transporting it" through Austria because the Austrian operator refused to confirm the transportation of the declared volume.
