Roundtable organized at Emergency Ministry ahead of WUF13 in Baku

Ahead of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13), to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan organized a roundtable discussion titled "State Supervision over Construction, Fire, Technical and Radiation Safety in Urban Development Activities."

According to Report, the event brought together representatives of the ministry and its subordinate agencies, as well as officials from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, Azerenerji, Azerishig, Azerigaz, the Energy Regulatory Agency of Azerbaijan, and the WUF13 Organizing Committee.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss issues related to ensuring public safety in urban development activities and to define key tasks in this area.

Participants in the roundtable presented the work carried out as part of preparations for WUF13 and emphasized the importance of strengthening state supervision in the urban planning sector and its role in ensuring public safety.

The event also featured an exchange of views on the topic, with participants answering questions related to the discussion.
