Participants of International Music Festival visit grave of Uzeyir Hajibayli

Participants of the 18th Uzeyir Hajibayli International Music Festival have visited the graves of the prominent musician and composer, People's Artist of the USSR Uzeyir Hajibayli, and other composers and musicians at the Alley of Honor in Baku, Report informs.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, his deputies, ministry staff, representatives of the composers' unions of the Turkic states, as well as a number of cultural and public figures.

The participants laid flowers at the graves of the prominent musicians, paying tribute to their memory.

As part of the 18th Uzeyir Hajibayli International Music Festival, which will be held from September 18 to 30, a series of events and concerts are planned in several regions of the country in addition to Baku.
