New project to support SMEs in Asia to be presented at CICA Business Forum in Baku

The creation of a cooperation ecosystem for the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) member countries will open up new horizons for regional development and help shape a more inclusive, digital and sustainable economic future, Secretary General of the organization Kairat Sarybay said during the 10th CICA Business Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

"Asia is a region of great opportunities, with rich human capital, innovative potential and a strong economic base. Today, having gathered here and representing different countries and industries, we reaffirm our common commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development through regional cooperation and dialogue. Government officials and diplomats can set the framework and provide support, but it is entrepreneurs, investors and innovators who are the true drivers of economic growth and the future prosperity of our vast continent," Sarybay added.

He also said that within the forum, the CICA Secretariat, with the active support of Azerbaijan and member states, will present a new project - an e-book entitled "The SME Landscape in Asia: An Interactive Guide."
