In the second quarter of 2026, Azerbaijani companies were listed among the major foreign direct investors in Georgia, according to Report's Georgian bureau.
Preliminary data from the country's National Statistics Office (Geostat) show that $468.8 million in direct foreign investment was made in April–June. This is 23.2% less than the revised figure for the same period in 2025.
Among the companies making large-scale direct foreign investments were Azerbaijan's PASHA Development Georgia LLC and the Georgian branch of SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations LLC.
Thus, Azerbaijani capital continued its participation in various sectors of Georgia's economy in the second quarter of 2026.
