Azerbaijan resumes exporting organic fertilizer to Türkiye

In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan imported 692 tons of organic fertilizer worth $865,000, up 71% and 6.4%, respectively, year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Azerbaijan imported 651 tons of organic fertilizer (+93%) worth $790,700 from Türkiye (+59%), 15.6 tons (-64%) worth $47,900 (-82%) from Italy, and 25 tons (+92%) worth $26,400 (+55%).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 1,797 tons (+1%) of organic fertilizers worth $242,000 (-30%).

Azerbaijan sold 1,776 tons (-0.4%) to Georgia worth $213,000 (-38%) and 21.4 tons to Türkiye worth $28,600.

After 6 years and 6 months, Azerbaijan resumed the supply of organic fertilizers to Türkiye.
