Azerbaijan starts to export cotton to one more country 

Azerbaijan exported 27,000 tons of ginned cotton worth $50.4 million, respectively, down 48% and 59% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 24,100 tons (-50%) of ginned cotton worth $44.25 million (-62%) to Türkiye, 1,373 tons (-55%) worth $3.1 million (-37%) to Iran, and 1,529 tons worth $3.1 million to Turkmenistan.

This year, Azerbaijan exported ginned cotton to Turkmenistan for the first time after 12 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available until 2011).
